Early Literacy Aid
Supporting emerging readers in grades 1–4 who need extra help with phonics and fluency. I offer a warm, patient environment where children build a strong literacy foundation at their own pace.
Our Curriculum
- Phonemic Awareness: Identifying and manipulating individual sounds in spoken words.
- Decoding: Mastering the relationship between letters and sounds to read new words accurately.
- Sight Words: Building a strong vocabulary of high-frequency words for effortless recognition.
- Fluency: Developing the ability to read text accurately, quickly, and with proper expression.
Expected Outcomes
Progress is measured through consistent growth in decoding accuracy and reading speed. Parents can expect to see a marked increase in their child's independent reading stamina and, most importantly, a surge in academic confidence. We turn struggling readers into curious learners who no longer fear the page.
